An Evening of Fairy Tales

So we jetted back from our Dayton trip to make it to "An Evening of Fairy Tales" a community play that a bunch of my friends have been involved with. It was absolutely wonderful, hilarious, creative and everything else in between. Two of my young women, Kylie and Gabby were some of the big stars in the production and my girlfriends, Jelaire - the director, Kim - the producer, Taurus - wrote the music & lyrics, and Denise - the stage manager, they all put in loads of time and hard work pulling off a truly amazing theatre experience for the community. Act 1 starts with a spoof of Little Red Riding Hood and morphs with a grown up Cinderella (Kylie) over what turns out more of Princess and the Pea story. Act 2 includes the Little Red Riding Hood story with B.B. Wolf (Denise's son) looking for "Red", which leads to the Snow White and the 7 dwarves story - Gabby being the wicked witch and this one kid being one heck of a "mirror". In the end the story ebbs and flows to the characters from Act 1 in a truly amazing myriad of laughs and really great acting. Here's some pictures from the night...
