I was beginning to wonder when we might see those first two pearly whites. I would check every couple of days with my finger and nothing! I even took Madeleine with me to my teeth cleaning (my dentist's office is fabulous!) to have them check - nothing! The pediatrician has checked her - nothing! When her glands were developing she was a constant drool machine and people would say - oh, she's teething! I knew better - no teeth! Finally, we were in the airport about to board our flight to San Diego when I mentioned to Andrew I hadn't checked for her teeth and wondered what the progress was - mind you there were absolutely no symptoms of teething to make me think there would be anything there - no fever, no fussiness, no drool, no biting everything in sight, but lo and behold, I felt two little pearly buds. If it is even possible, they make her look even cuter!

Good job Maddy on being such a champ with getting your first two teeth! Hopefully you'll do just as well with getting the rest of them.
